What This Service Covers
A project can be perfectly engineered and still stall on site if the right pipe, valve, or fabricated skid isn't available when construction needs it. Our procurement function exists to close that gap — sourcing materials, equipment, and specialist services against project specifications, and managing the process from vendor identification through to delivery on site.
This covers the practical range of what an oil and gas construction or maintenance project typically requires: line pipe, fittings and flanges, valves, structural steel, fabricated equipment such as skids and vessels, and specialist services where a particular capability sits outside our own direct scope. For each, we work from the specification the engineering team has issued, so what's procured matches what was actually designed — not a substitute that happens to be available.
Procurement on an active project is as much about coordination as sourcing. Lead times need to be tracked against the construction schedule, quality documentation needs to accompany materials so they can be accepted on site without delay, and logistics — particularly for items being moved into more remote or difficult-access locations — needs to be planned rather than left to chance. We manage these threads together so materials arrive where and when construction needs them.

We work from the engineering-issued specification to understand exactly what's required — grade, standard, dimensions, and any project-specific requirements.
Vendor Sourcing & Evaluation
Qualified vendors are identified and evaluated against the specification, considering quality, lead time, and cost.
Order Placement & Tracking
Purchase orders are placed and tracked against the project schedule, with lead times monitored so any delay risk is flagged early.
Quality Documentation & Inspection
Materials are received with the required quality certification, and inspection is coordinated where the specification calls for it before acceptance.
Delivery & Site Coordination
Logistics are planned so materials arrive at site in line with the construction sequence, avoiding both delays and unnecessary early-delivery storage burden.
