What This Service Covers
Commissioning is the stage where a completed construction project is proven to actually work — where design and installation are tested against reality before a facility or system is handed over for operation. We provide pre-commissioning and commissioning support that takes completed construction work through system testing, functional verification, and coordinated start-up.
Pre-commissioning covers the inspections and checks carried out before a system is energized or put into service — confirming installation matches the design, connections are correctly made, and the system is genuinely ready to be tested rather than just visually complete. From there, commissioning moves into functional and performance testing, verifying that equipment and systems operate as intended under real conditions.
A significant part of commissioning work is punch-list management — tracking the items identified during testing that need to be closed out before a system can be fully accepted, and following through until they're resolved rather than left outstanding. We also provide start-up support, working alongside the client's operations team through the initial period of a system coming into service, and troubleshooting issues that only become apparent once a system is actually running.
